Way to get inspired

While the easiest way to get inspired is by looking outwards for signs and words, yet many find the inward journey more promising. There are various means to inspire the self, and one prominent tried and tested method is to pen the thoughts that run through the mind. All one needs to do listen closely to the soft and gentle inner voice and then note it down in a diary. These thoughts bring stimulation to act and perform, rather than losing hope.

Thus, inspirational thoughts are not just those penned by famous personalities, but also those that are put to paper by almost anyone. These may not be published or circulated into the world; but the important aspect is that they inspire the one writing them.

Here are some interesting thoughts to inspire the soul…

  • Men take only their needs into consideration, never their abilities.
  • Learn to smile at every situation. See it as an opportunity to prove your strength and ability.
  • Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
  • If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door.
  • Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity. They seem more afraid of life than death.
  • It is better to be prepared for an opportunity and not have one, than to have an opportunity and not be prepared.
  • A wise man will make more opportunities than he finds

Inspirational People

It’s so incredibly amazing how real inspiring stories can transform our lives. It is a total delight to read stories of brave people who have overcome incredible odds in order to reach their goals. There are thousands of such stories where great people have managed to succeed despite facing mental, physical, economical, emotional and social handicaps. We are in awe of such people. Many of us get inspired enough to start taking action in order to change our lives while others will just see these stories as something that occurred because of luck. But no, there is no luck. These great people made their own luck. They managed to achieve simply because they had the willpower and determination to rise above all the setbacks and challenges.

To find the real meaning of inspiring stories, we must look closely at what these people had to go through then only we will realize these brave souls just wanted their dream more than most people. Plenty of inspiring stories are found in almost all the areas right from, politics, history to art, culture and sports. For instance, many of us must have heard of Lance Armstrong who won the toughest cycling competition in the world, Tour De France no less than 7 times. However, we should also know he had cancer but he managed to overcome this deadly disease and ruled the world of cycling.

The legendary basketball player Michael Jordan had failed to make the basketball team during his first year but he still ended up being one of the greatest basketball players of all time. These are the real inspiring heroes and stories. They didn’t just wake up one day and became champions. They trained for day and nights. They worked harder than anyone else and of course, they wanted it more than everyone else. Never ever give up on your dreams. We truly need more and more stories of inspirational people.
